Character Trait of the Month: Generosity

The holiday season is upon us and my favorite part about this time of year is the chance to give to others! This month, Independent is celebrating generosity, an important trait to instill in all of our young learners! Our class will be participating in our first service learning project, where we will be creating Thanksgiving decorations for a convalescent care center in Castro Valley. Later this month, Independent will also be having a canned food drive. We will be reading books about generosity in class and you can continue the discussion at home by sharing the following books with your child and talking about them!
